As part of our weekend team, you will ensure the seamless operation of our critical infrastructure while enjoying the stability of a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd level technical support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Manage and prioritize incoming helpdesk tickets during peak weekend hours with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical roadblocks and system outages.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for critical systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira).
- Conduct remote troubleshooting for off-site employees and onsite support for local teams.
- Train junior staff on weekend procedures and system updates as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or IT operations role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, VPN configurations, and Active Directory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotational basis.
