Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 nursing staff in critical care units, ensuring compliance with JCAHO standards
- Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship programs for junior nurses
- Manage inventory and budget allocation for departmental resources
- Lead emergency response protocols during high-acuity situations
- Collaborate with hospital administration on process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with minimum 3 years ICU experience
- Bachelor's in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proven leadership experience in acute care settings
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
