Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ nursing staff, ensuring compliance with JCAHO standards
- Develop and implement evidence-based care protocols
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge planning
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship sessions
- Manage inventory and budget for medical supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Lead emergency response drills and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (required)
- Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience
- 2+ years in supervisory/leadership role
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred)
- Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
