Job Overview
The Night Shift IT Support Specialist will provide tier 2 technical assistance to internal stakeholders, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor and maintain server health, ensuring all critical systems are running smoothly during night operations.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to seamlessly transition support issues and escalate critical problems.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or a related technical role.
- Proven experience working in Night Shift environments is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
