Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Organize warehouse inventory and stock shelves in a timely manner.
- Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely with certification.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing merchandise to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory status.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a standard pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Portland, NC facility.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or tablets.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
