Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and update stock locations in real-time.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company compliance standards.
- Coordinate with drivers and dock personnel to streamline loading and unloading processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper labeling and storage of goods.
- Resolve operational discrepancies and escalate complex issues to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management (1+ years preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
