Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on various metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished welds to meet industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial welding (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Valid certification in welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).
- Strong ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics.
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Proven track record of safety compliance and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
