Responsibilities
- Technical Audits: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
- Schema Markup: Implement and optimize structured data (JSON-LD) to enhance rich snippets and search visibility.
- Site Architecture: Design and maintain scalable site architectures that support long-term SEO goals.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Link Strategy: Oversee a strategic backlink profile, focusing on high-quality link acquisition and disavowal strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into every stage of the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in technical SEO, with a track record of improving organic rankings for complex websites.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic Python scripting. Familiarity with tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Algorithm Knowledge: Deep understanding of Google’s Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T guidelines, and recent algorithm updates.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical teams.
