Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Systems Architect to lead the development of Project 2026, our next-generation quantum-secure data infrastructure initiative. As the industry shifts towards post-silicon computing, Apex Dynamics is building the backbone of the future. You will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient systems that can handle exabyte-scale data flows while maintaining military-grade security standards.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering, ensuring our platform remains ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the end-to-end design of the Project 2026 infrastructure, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for the platform, evaluating emerging technologies such as edge computing and neuromorphic hardware.
- Code Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers, conducting rigorous code reviews and establishing best practices for security and performance.
- System Optimization: Oversee the optimization of database queries and API latency to ensure sub-millisecond response times under peak load.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security analysts, and data scientists to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and conduct regular simulations to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Core Tech: Proficiency in Go, Python, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Containers & Orchestration: Deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Security: Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and encryption standards.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, large-scale distributed system challenges.
