Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure software systems.
- Coding Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define feature requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and optimize performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Agile Leadership: Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive project velocity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a scalable environment.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one major language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or C++).
- Cloud: Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Databases: Solid understanding of database design and experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
