Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of microservices for Platform 2026, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Optimize complex data pipelines and database queries to maximize performance and throughput.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices and containerization strategies (Docker/Kubernetes) to streamline deployment workflows.
- Identify technical risks early and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically optimizing large-scale data structures.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
