Responsibilities
- Monitor system health, performance, and alerts during the night shift to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Execute automated deployment pipelines and database maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document findings and provide status updates.
- Optimize application code and database queries to enhance system efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response drills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of working successfully in night shift or rotating schedules.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of Linux system administration and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
