Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines in AWS cloud environment
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable fintech applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience without degree)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle software projects
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Docker/Kubernetes
- Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
