Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quantum talent acquisition strategies targeting top-tier research institutions and industry conferences
- Build specialized pipelines for quantum physicists, cryptographers, and quantum hardware engineers
- Partner with CTO to define future skill requirements for quantum computing evolution
- Design employer branding initiatives for quantum technology recruitment channels
- Lead compensation benchmarking for emerging quantum roles across North America
- Implement AI-powered sourcing tools for quantum talent identification
- Mentor junior recruiters on quantum computing fundamentals and recruitment methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years technical recruiting experience with quantum computing, AI, or advanced physics roles
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles (qubits, superposition, entanglement)
- Proven track record placing PhD-level researchers in specialized tech fields
- Experience with quantum industry networks (IEEE Quantum, QED-C, etc.)
- Expertise in compensation structures for emerging tech roles
- Familiarity with quantum-specific sourcing platforms (e.g., Quantum Jobs Board)
- Advanced knowledge of quantum hardware companies (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
