What You Will Do
As a Senior NOC Technician, you will act as the guardian of our network integrity. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining system uptime and resolving complex technical issues during the critical night shift window.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, system health, and security alerts in real-time using industry-standard tools.
- Execute proactive maintenance, patch management, and system optimizations during off-peak hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and outages with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to implement long-term infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with data security protocols and company IT policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Support role.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and server hardware.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, or Splunk).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
