We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our elite 24/7 operations team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As part of our Night Shift team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring our critical services remain uninterrupted while the rest of the world sleeps. You will be the first line of defense for technical issues, providing rapid resolution and expert guidance.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Proactively monitor server health, network performance, and hardware infrastructure to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues and user tickets efficiently during off-peak hours.
- Security Compliance: Implement IT security protocols, conduct vulnerability scans, and respond to security alerts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the day-shift engineering team for seamless handovers and project coordination.
- Backup Management: Manage and verify data backup processes to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration experience.
- Schedule: Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) permanently.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, Remote Desktop, Microsoft Office Suite, and ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
