Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, status reports, and steering committee meetings.
- Oversee budget management and financial reporting to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate Agile or Waterfall methodologies, adapting processes to fit team needs.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to improve future performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle projects, preferably in a client-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Asana.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
