Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, policy, and socioeconomic domains to identify disruptive forces for 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for executive decision-making in volatile markets
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with global stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry publications
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting future business models
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi method, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published author or speaker at global futurism conferences (e.g., WFS, World Future Society)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
