Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast disruptive forces affecting our industry through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable product development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed narratives and visual storytelling
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives and measure impact against KPIs
- Document trend intelligence and strategic insights in proprietary foresight platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, Business Analytics, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with proven impact
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies including horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, and scenario planning
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic transformations
