Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions with 5-10 year foresight
- Develop and communicate strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry transformation goals
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Establish quantitative frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and future-readiness across organizational units
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications on emerging trends and their business implications
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Executive-level presentation skills with track record of influencing C-suite decision-making
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) preferred
