Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze disruptive trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Present future insights to executive leadership and Board of Directors
- Establish innovation metrics and KPIs for future-readiness
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with venture-style decision-making
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and societal megatrends
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change in complex organizations
