Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with C-suite executives in Fortune 100 companies
- Author seminal research papers and keynote presentations at Davos, CES, and MIT Future Conferences
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight into patentable innovations and product roadmaps for $1B+ revenue streams
- Advise on regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies including AI governance and bioethics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at top-tier tech firms
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, Cognitive Science, or equivalent field
- Published author or thought leader in peer-reviewed journals (Nature Futures, Foresight Journal)
- Expertise in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio of 3+ validated predictions)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology, AGI safety)
- Experience scaling foresight programs across multinational organizations (10k+ employees)
- Certification in foresight (APF, CFCS) or equivalent professional recognition
