Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop comprehensive future roadmaps and strategic frameworks for product innovation and business transformation
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy, R&D priorities, and investment decisions
- Produce visionary thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, trend reports, and keynote presentations
- Establish and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for cross-functional leadership teams
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive intelligence to maintain strategic advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology leadership with proven impact on long-term vision
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Proven track record of publishing thought leadership and influencing C-level decision-making
- Experience facilitating strategic workshops with executive stakeholders across global organizations
