Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026 market landscapes and consumer behavior shifts
- Architect innovation roadmaps for next-gen products and services in collaboration with R&D teams
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish and maintain global networks of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning Horizon as the future's voice
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep technical literacy in emerging technologies and their socioeconomic impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous future landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating successful integration of foresight into business strategy
