Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to quantify future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact executive briefings and white papers on future-state implications for key industries
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight thinking into product development and corporate strategy
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation ecosystems
- Maintain proprietary '2026 Impact Index' tracking technology adoption curves and societal readiness metrics
- Present findings to board members and investors as part of quarterly strategic reviews
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of predicting market disruptions (provide case studies in application)
- Expertise in scenario modeling, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight software tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
