Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks mapping technological evolution, regulatory shifts, and market opportunities
- Produce executive-ready scenario analyses and innovation roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future projections into actionable product development strategies for engineering teams
- Author thought leadership content including white papers, conference presentations, and industry reports
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-vision concepts and validate market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech convergence points
- Experience building and managing global innovation ecosystems and stakeholder networks
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker at major technology conferences
