Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure network security devices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to mitigate the impact of security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Provide security awareness training to staff and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (if required).
