Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automation: Write scripts and use tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate deployment and configuration management.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM roles, and ensure adherence to industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, analyze metrics, and optimize resource allocation to ensure high availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate CI/CD pipelines into our workflow.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all infrastructure changes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Python, and scripting languages.
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with cloud computing concepts, networking, and virtualization.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
