Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps automation initiatives
- Architect microservices solutions with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Conduct security audits and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical best practices across teams
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable architectures
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java)
- Proven track record designing high-availability distributed systems
- Strong background in networking (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers)
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
