Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Go.
- Design and optimize database schemas and query performance for large-scale data sets.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and architectural integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Frontend teams to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing standards are met.
- Identify system bottlenecks and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and performance.
- Maintain strict security standards and compliance protocols across all backend infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
