Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Drive the research and development of novel AI architectures and algorithms, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and accuracy for the 2026 roadmap.
- Model Training & Optimization: Design and execute training pipelines for Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems, optimizing for inference speed and cost.
- Peer Collaboration: Mentor junior researchers and engineers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Publication & Thought Leadership: Author high-impact research papers and present findings at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.) to establish Nexus Future Labs as an industry leader.
- Technical Strategy: Translate complex research concepts into actionable technical requirements for the engineering and product teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in AI/ML research or a related role, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade AI models.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and deep learning frameworks. Experience with Hugging Face Transformers is a plus.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability theory.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems with creative and scalable solutions.
