Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Design and develop advanced quantum-classical hybrid algorithms and machine learning models for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Model Optimization: Optimize existing AI models for deployment on next-generation hardware, improving performance, accuracy, and energy efficiency.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate quantum solutions into scalable products.
- Mentorship: Lead technical mentorship for junior engineers and contribute to the company’s knowledge base and technical documentation.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes to validate theoretical concepts and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI or Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focusing on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Quantum Experience: Experience with quantum computing libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and a deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
