Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using critical thinking skills
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all healthcare regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia
- BSN degree preferred; associates degree with 3+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care or specialty nursing experience
- Electronic health record system proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
