Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during weekend shifts
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure clinic readiness for weekend operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent credential required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Current BLS certification
- Minnesota state medical assistant license or eligibility
