In this role, you'll lead groundbreaking research at the intersection of quantum physics, cognitive science, and UX design, ensuring our quantum platforms are accessible to diverse users while maintaining scientific integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct user studies on quantum computing interfaces using biometric and behavioral analytics
- Develop cognitive models for quantum interaction patterns and translate findings into design principles
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to translate complex concepts into intuitive visualizations
- Create predictive UX frameworks for quantum error correction feedback systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers to prototype quantum-human interaction protocols
- Establish industry-first accessibility standards for quantum technology interfaces
- Author thought leadership papers on the future of human-quantum symbiosis
Qualifications
- PhD in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or Quantum Physics (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years researching emerging tech interfaces (quantum, AR/VR, or AI preferred)
- Expertise in biometric research tools (EEG, eye-tracking, fNIRS)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system visualization projects
- Published work in quantum cognition or future-tech UX journals
- Fluency in quantum computing fundamentals (QIS, superposition, entanglement)
- Experience with immersive prototyping tools (Unity, Three.js)
