Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms using Q# and Python.
- Develop error mitigation and error correction strategies for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Translate theoretical physics concepts into executable quantum code for cloud-based quantum processors.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure software compatibility with emerging quantum chip architectures.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and analysis of quantum circuit depth and coherence times.
- Contribute to the open-source quantum computing community and internal knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on quantum computing or related fields.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Strong command of linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis.
- Experience with classical machine learning and its intersection with quantum computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
