Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at sub-Kelvin temperatures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop error correction protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage federal research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
