Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-corrected architectures for 2026 deployment targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Optimize qubit stability and coherence times using cutting-edge cryogenic systems
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage in AI training and molecular simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define superconducting qubit specifications
- Present findings at global quantum summits and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Mastery of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum computing grants
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
