Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and qubit stability optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies with commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum computing interns
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QASM)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Ability to secure research funding through grant proposals
