Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Secure federal and private research grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics
- Partner with NASA and DOD on classified quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Q# programming
- Published research in quantum computing (arXiv:quant-ph)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and topology
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
