Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and quantum engineering interns
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready quantum cloud services
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design tools
