Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting platforms
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulators
- Expertise in quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
- Strong background in complex systems theory and linear algebra
