Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published work in quantum cryptography or machine learning
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
