Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with enhanced coherence times
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF/DARPA/DOE grant applications
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation (Qiskit, Cirq) or hardware control
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with deep understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics
