Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction mechanisms for scalable quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical applications for healthcare and logistics
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through innovative proposal development
- Mentor PhD candidates and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware programming
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
