Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Manage a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and computational scientists
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in enterprise environments
- Secure federal grants and private partnerships for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with proven publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
