Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust 2D rendering pipelines using WebGL, Canvas, or GPU-accelerated techniques.
- Optimize existing rendering code to ensure 60fps performance across a wide range of devices.
- Collaborate closely with the art team to translate high-fidelity concepts into efficient, scalable code.
- Debug complex graphics issues and implement visual effects (VFX) for 2D environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphics development or game engine programming.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web graphics APIs (WebGL, WebGL2, or Pixi.js/Three.js).
- Deep understanding of rasterization, compositing, and sprite handling.
- Experience with performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, WebGL Inspector).
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
