Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of 8-12 researchers in quantum hardware-software integration
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals like Nature Quantum
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for post-2026 cybersecurity infrastructure
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing solutions through strategic IP management
- Mentor PhD candidates and establish industry-academic research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing quantum algorithm breakthroughs (provide 3+ publications)
- Expertise in quantum error correction, qubit manipulation, and quantum circuit optimization
- Familiarity with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and cloud quantum platforms
- Experience leading R&D teams with successful project delivery in high-stakes environments
