Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 100+ qubit fault tolerance
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems operating at 10mK temperatures
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and simulation workloads
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting qubit and photonic quantum systems
- Establish quantum security standards for 2026-era distributed computing networks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in leading journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance implementations
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
