Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and AI acceleration
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Partner with federal agencies on post-quantum cybersecurity standards implementation
- Manage cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Drive strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
- Publish in Nature/Science and deliver keynote talks at IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq programming and quantum error correction codes
- Proven track record of securing $5M+ in quantum research grants
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (h-index >20)
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
